Ugen Trading Private Limited (UTPL) is pleased to announce the incorporation of its wholly owned subsidiary – Ugen Trading Gelephu Pte. Ltd. (UTGPL) – under the Companies Act 2025 of Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC) and the appointment of its Resident Director, effective 1 June 2026.
UTGPL was incorporated on 21 April 2026 as part of the UTPL’s strategic expansion into Gelephu Mindfulness City and to support emerging opportunities in:
- Integrated Safety, Security and Communication Solutions,
- Construction and Earthmoving Equipment and Machinery,
- Commercial and Utility Vehicles,
- New Prefab Structures and Modular Construction, and
- ICT and Smart City Integration Solutions.
The establishment of UTGPL reflects the holding company’s confidence in the long-term vision of Gelephu Mindfulness City and its potential to become a leading hub for innovation, investment, sustainability, and regional economic collaboration.
As part of its initial organisational structure, the Company has appointed Mr. Dawa Penjor, as Resident Director commencing on 1 June 2026.
In this role, the Resident Director will serve as a member of the Board of Directors of UTGPL and provide strategic guidance, stakeholder engagement support, governance oversight, and business facilitation services to support the Company’s establishment and growth within the GMC ecosystem.
