Thimphu, 8 October 2025 – Ugen Earthmovers (UEM), the authorized JCB dealer in Bhutan, successfully hosted a Customer Meet on 7 October 2025 at Hotel Ariya, Olakha. The event brought together Bhutan’s infrastructure and construction leaders, reaffirming UEM’s commitment to service excellence and innovation.

A major highlight of the event was the strong show of support from the JCB global network, including a senior delegation from JCB India. This presence underscored the vital link between Bhutan’s market needs and JCB’s world-class manufacturing and technical expertise.
The event reaffirmed UEM’s renewed commitment to its 3S Model (Sales, Service, Spares), a key pillar of the company’s strategic reset. UEM emphasized investments to maximize customer machine uptime:
- Sales: Focused on the latest JCB machines, optimized for Bhutan’s challenging terrain.
- Service & Spares: Detailed plans were shared for expanding Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) packages and maintaining a robust, localized inventory of Genuine JCB Spares to ensure minimal waiting times.

The event also touched upon the immense opportunities ahead, particularly the role JCB and UEM will play in supporting major national development projects, including the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC).
