Thimphu, 01 January 2026: Ugen Trading Private Limited (UTPL) successfully conducted its first Annual Company Retreat from 29 – 31 December 2025 at Jigmechu Treehouse Campsite, marking an important milestone in the company’s journey. The retreat brought together the management team and associates from across business units and Phuentsholing regional office for reflection, alignment, and team bonding as the company prepares for the year ahead.

The retreat commenced on 29 December with the management team engaging in focused discussions on the Corporate Annual Plan & Budget, KPIs, and strategic priorities for 2026. This was followed on 30 December by the participation of associates, featuring a mix of leadership interactions, team-building exercises, and open dialogue sessions designed to strengthen collaboration and trust across the organisation.

Set in a natural and serene environment, the retreat encouraged meaningful conversations beyond the workplace, reinforcing UTPL’s commitment to people-centric leadership, shared values, and a strong team culture. The programme also included reflection sessions on lessons from 2025, interactive discussions on the company’s future direction under Ugen 3.0, including group exercises to refine the Corporate Annual Plan & Budget, KPIs and targets for 2026, and activities aimed at fostering unity and mutual respect.

The retreat concluded on 31 December with local engagement activities and a collective reflection, as participants returned with renewed energy, clarity of purpose, and a shared commitment to delivering UTPL’s goals in 2026. As the company’s first such gathering, the Annual Company Retreat sets the foundation for similar engagements in the future, strengthening the company’s culture of openness, teamwork, and continuous growth.
